Delete your Reflectize account

You can delete your Reflectize account and everything in it at any time, for free.

Before you delete: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not stop billing. Apple or Google bills your subscription, so cancel it in the store first.

  • iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
  • Android: open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

Delete your account in the app

  1. On Home, open Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. On the Delete your account page, tap Delete my account.
  4. In the last dialog, tap Delete.

If you no longer have the app

Send us an email and we will delete your account for you.

  • Please write from the email address on your Reflectize account.
  • If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, include that relay address. It ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com.
  • We may ask you one question to confirm the account is yours.
  • Please do not send any journal text. We do not need it.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

  • Your account and profile: name, email and photo.
  • Your journal entries, chats and AI replies.
  • The photos and videos you added.
  • Your day summaries and scores.
  • What Reflectize remembers from your entries: people, places, plans, events, goals and notes, other things like activities and routines, and health details.
  • Your onboarding answers and the questions prepared for you.
  • Your notifications, notification settings, devices and sign-in tokens.
  • Reports you sent about AI replies.
  • Your Talk to the team messages and our replies.
  • If you used Sign in with Apple, we also disconnect Reflectize from your Apple ID.

What we keep and why

  • Purchase records. Apple, Google and RevenueCat, who handle subscriptions for us, keep records of purchases for tax and accounting.
  • A short deletion record with internal ids and dates. It has no name, email or journal content. It shows that the deletion happened.
  • Backups. Copies of deleted data can stay in our database backups for up to 89 days, until those backups expire.
  • Anything the law requires us to keep.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app happens right away. If you email us, we delete your account within 30 days of confirming it is yours.

Deleting only some data

You do not have to delete your whole account. In the app you can delete events, goals and notes one by one. In the phone app’s Settings, under What Reflectize remembers, you can delete the people, places, plans and other things Reflectize remembers, health details included. For anything else, email us at [email protected] and tell us what you would like removed.
